Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of a new day and the promise it holds. Guide our steps, open our hearts to Your presence, and help us to trust in Your plan. May our words and actions bring glory to Your name, and may we walk with humility and grace as Your servants. Strengthen our faith and fill us with Your peace as we face the challenges ahead.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

This verse encourages us to prioritize our relationship with God and His will above all else. By focusing on His kingdom and righteousness, we align ourselves with His purposes and allow Him to provide for our needs. In seeking His kingdom first, we discover that our everyday worries dissipate, replaced by a peace rooted in divine alignment.

How can we find peace in times of trouble?

The Bible teaches us in Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” In times of trouble, prayer and thanksgiving usher in God’s peace, guarding our hearts against anxiety and fear.
