Your Daily Devotion for October 21st
Good Morning!
As we embrace this day, let us reflect on the abundant blessings that fill our lives. Each day is a new canvas, painted with the colors of God’s grace and mercy. Let us start today with a heart full of gratitude and faith.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of a new day, for the breath in our lungs, and the beauty around us. Guide us in Your truth and love, that we may walk in the light of Your path. Grant us strength to face the challenges, and joy to celebrate the victories. Help us to love as You love, and to serve as You serve.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
- Proverbs 31:25
The Proverbs 31 woman is admired not only for her tasks but for her inner strength and dignity. Her laughter in the face of the future embodies a trust and peace that comes from relying on God’s promises and faithfulness. We too are called to step into each day with confidence, knowing our worth is found in Him.
Question of the day
How do I discern God’s will for my personal life decisions?
Discerning God’s will often involves multiple facets: prayer, seeking wise counsel, reading Scripture, and observing your life’s circumstances. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” By aligning our thoughts with God’s word and remaining open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, we can navigate life’s decisions with divine insight.

Moment of Reflection
Pause and reflect on the areas of your life where you need God’s guidance. Are there worries or uncertainties clouding your path? Take a moment to surrender them to God, trusting that He knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Thought for the day
In a world filled with noise and clutter, the voice of God can become a still whisper in our hearts. To truly listen and understand His calling, it’s essential to cultivate moments of silence and solitude in our daily lives. Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray, not as a retreat from the world, but as a preparation to engage it with holy purpose. May we too find the strength and direction we seek, by setting aside intentional time to be still and listen to the whisper of His guidance.
Closing Blessing
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ encompass you in His love, may His wisdom guide you in all your decisions, and may His peace dwell in your heart today and always. Go forth with the assurance that He walks with you, now and forevermore.
