Your Daily Devotion for May 22nd

Good Morning!
Good Morning! Today is Thursday, May 22. Welcome the Holy Spirit’s fruit today to shape your character anew. May you sense His gentle guidance as love, joy, and patience bloom within, regardless of the pressures you may encounter. Allow His transformation deep within you, making Christ more evident through your life today.
Help 25 people come to Christ, in challenging countries, for just $100.
In Egypt, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam...where it’s hard to talk about Jesus...young people are actively searching online for answers for their lives. "Does God exist?" “How can I find God?” “Who is Jesus?” “Why is life so hard?”
EveryStudent.com is answering their search and more than 3,900 people each day are receiving Christ.
You could help so many more people, who are lost without Him, safely find Jesus as they search.
Every $100 likely means 25 people receive Christ. Did you ever think you could so easily help that many people know Jesus? See this remarkable strategy
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Almighty God, let love, joy, and patience blossom abundantly in our hearts despite life’s pressures. Grant us Your grace to submit to the Spirit’s quiet work within us, forming each of these virtues daily so that others might see Christ through our words, responses, and actions this day.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
Galatians 5:22:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance…”
Formation happens within. The Holy Spirit gently and continually transforms our inner beings, nurturing in us the very qualities of Christ Himself. The Spirit shapes us from the inside out, so that our lives overflow naturally with His fruits—love, joy, peace, and patience—impacting every interaction we have.
Question of the day
Which fruit of the Spirit do I sense God nudging me to cultivate more?
God desires our spiritual growth and draws our attention toward areas of personal refinement. Perhaps love, peace, or patience is difficult for you right now. Pause, pray, and reflect upon where He’s nudging you most clearly.
Consider Philippians 2:13, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Trust in His faithful grace, providing the strength and resources to nurture this fruit and develop His character within you.

Moment of Reflection
Recall a moment recently when you overcame anger or impatience through a gentle and Spirit-led response. Reflect on how the Holy Spirit guided your heart and tongue. Offer a moment of gratitude to Him for this inward growth.
Thought for the day
As we yield willingly to the inner work of the Holy Spirit, something remarkable happens: Christ’s virtues gradually become our own. Our responses soften, our interactions deepen in kindness, and our character increasingly mirrors Jesus. Transformation doesn’t come from striving harder but from surrendering more fully. Yield your heart today and experience the tender shaping of the Spirit who makes your life fragrant with the unmistakable perfume of Christ’s character.
Closing Blessing
May your day be sweetly marked by the clear evidence of His ongoing transformation, drawing those around you to the gentle and beautiful presence of Christ within you. May His Spirit’s fruits abound in every encounter and every endeavor today.
