Good Morning!
Good morning, beloved! On this Saturday, June 27th, we gather our hearts before the Lord with a powerful truth: sow in tears expectantly—for weeping carries seed toward harvest. Every tear you’ve shed is not wasted. God sees each one, and He is working to redeem every tear you’ve cried. Let this day remind you that seasons of sorrow are often preparing the soil for extraordinary joy.

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that have known weeping. You have seen our tears in the quiet moments and the overwhelming seasons. Lord, we trust that You are redeeming every tear we’ve cried. Help us to sow faithfully even when our eyes are blurred with sorrow. Plant hope deep within us and let our weeping become worship as we anticipate the harvest of joy You have promised. Strengthen our faith to believe that songs of celebration await us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.” — Psalm 126:5
This beautiful promise from the Psalms speaks to every heart that has experienced the weight of sorrow while still pressing forward in faith. The image is striking: a farmer planting seeds while weeping, each tear falling into the soil alongside the grain.
In ancient Israel, sowing season often came during times of uncertainty—resources were depleted, and there was no guarantee of rain or harvest. Yet the farmer sowed anyway. This is the picture of faithful obedience in painful seasons. God doesn’t ask us to deny our grief but to continue planting seeds of faithfulness, kindness, prayer, and service even while we weep. The promise is certain: what is sown in tears will be reaped with songs of joy. Your tears are watering future harvests that you cannot yet see.
Question of the Day
Why does God allow seasons of tears and sorrow in our lives?
Scripture teaches that seasons of difficulty serve multiple purposes in God’s redemptive plan. James 1:2-4 tells us to “consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” Romans 5:3-4 echoes this, revealing that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope.
God allows tearful seasons not to punish us but to deepen our roots, refine our character, and increase our capacity for joy. Just as a seed must be buried in darkness before it breaks forth into life, our sorrows often precede our greatest spiritual growth. God wastes nothing—especially not our tears (Psalm 56:8).

Moment of Reflection
What tearful season in your life holds hidden harvest potential? Perhaps you’re walking through one now—a loss, a struggle, a prolonged waiting. Consider the moments when joy erupted after seasons of sorrowful sowing. Remember how God brought beauty from ashes before. Let that memory strengthen your faith today. Your tears are not falling on barren ground; they are watering seeds of future blessing.

Thought for the Day
Tears have a sacred purpose in the economy of God’s Kingdom. In a world that often tells us to suppress our pain or rush past grief, Scripture invites us to embrace a different perspective: let tears become seeds.
This doesn’t mean we manufacture sorrow or wallow in despair. Rather, it means we recognize that our painful experiences, when surrendered to God, become fertile ground for transformation. The tears shed over a wayward child become prayers that water their eventual return. The grief over a broken relationship becomes compassion that ministers to others walking similar paths. The disappointment over unfulfilled dreams becomes the humility that prepares us for God’s greater plans.
Every tear carries weight in heaven. Revelation 21:4 promises a day when God Himself will wipe away every tear—but until that glorious moment, our tears serve as both honest expressions of our humanity and sacred investments in eternal harvests we cannot yet imagine.
Closing Blessing
May the God of all comfort hold every tear you’ve cried in His gentle hands. May He transform your seasons of weeping into abundant harvests of joy. May you walk forward in faith, trusting that songs of celebration are on the horizon. And may the peace of Christ guard your heart today and always.
Amen.
