Today’s devotion is brought to you by The Pour Over—a free newsletter helping 900,000+ believers stay informed on the biggest news while remaining focused on Christ
Good Morning!
Good morning, beloved in Christ! It’s Wednesday, June 25. Let’s anchor our identity firmly in Christ today—not swayed by public opinion or the world’s shifting approval. Stand secure, for our worth is defined by God’s steadfast and unchanging love.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Help us to always anchor our worth and identity firmly in You. Remind us daily that it is Your unconditional love through Jesus Christ, not the fleeting approval of others, that truly defines who we are. May we rest secure in Your abundant grace, embracing the freedom You have provided for us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” - Galatians 2:20
The world often tries to define us through achievements, status, or popularity. But because Christ lives within us, our true identity and value comes solely from Him. Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary was not conditional on popularity or public approval—it was driven by unconditional love. Today, may we remember to root ourselves deeply in His unwavering acceptance, allowing all other voices of approval or disapproval to fade into insignificance.

Question of the day
How do I overcome my constant need for others’ approval?
The Bible reveals that our need for human approval stems from misunderstanding or forgetting where our true worth is found—the love and acceptance of Christ Himself. Galatians 1:10 says, “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
By aligning our hearts with God’s truth and focusing on pleasing Him rather than others, we find freedom. Recognize the voice of others for what it truly is—a passing opinion, not an anchor for your soul. Anchor your self-worth to Jesus, and you will discover unshakeable security that earthly approval can never provide.

Moment of Reflection
Where am I allowing others’ opinions to affect my sense of worth and identity today? Take a few moments to reflect and surrender those insecurities to Christ, asking Him to replace worldly validation with spiritual fulfillment rooted deeply in His sacrificial love on the Cross.
Thought for the day
Our true value was determined on Calvary, not by the applause of crowds. When we attempt to find our identity in other people’s perceptions, we place ourselves on unstable sands. Our self-worth becomes subject to the unpredictability of human opinion, leading us to constantly strive and inevitably exhaust ourselves seeking approval. In Christ, however, we have been set free from this endless chase. Our identity is secure in His sacrifice, His eternal truth, and His unwavering love. Cultivate a lifestyle deeply rooted in this security. Let Christ define your identity, for He alone has earned that sacred right through His perfect, sacrificial love.
Closing Blessing
May you walk forth today in freedom, knowing deeply that your identity is anchored in Christ’s everlasting love, completely beloved and unconditionally approved. May His peace guide you, His truth sustain you, and His love envelop you now and always.
