Your Daily Devotion for June 20th

Good Morning!
Good morning! It’s Friday, June 20th—another precious opportunity to walk humbly, remembering that every gift and talent we enjoy comes directly from God’s loving hand. Let’s carry gratitude in our hearts today.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Uproot the pride from our hearts and plant within us a holy spirit of gratitude and humility. Help us remember that every blessing, every ability, every joyful moment, originates from Your generous hand. Teach us to walk humbly, always attributing the glory back to You, Lord.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” — James 1:17
This scripture serves as a gentle reminder that nothing we have accomplished or received is solely by our own strength. Rather, every good thing—every act of kindness, every success, every talent—is a beautiful blessing given freely by our Father above. When we remember to give Him the credit, our hearts naturally overflow with genuine thankfulness.

No pressure. No obligation. Just thoughtful insight from someone who’s legally required to put your best interest first.
If you’ve been putting this off, now is a great time to start.
Question of the day
What ability or blessing have I been taking the credit for lately?
It’s so easy to overlook God’s provision, attributing our abilities or successes to our own efforts. However, we are wise to remember Deuteronomy 8:17–18: “You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth…”. Reflecting on this brings humility and redirects gratitude to the Source of our strength—our Heavenly Father.

Thought for the day
Humility grows where thankfulness thrives. When we regularly acknowledge God as the Source of our every blessing—aligning our heart to His grace—we create fertile ground for humility to take root and flourish. Gratitude is more than saying “thank you”; it’s an intentional posture that honors God’s abundant generosity, shaping how we view ourselves, others, and every situation we encounter. Cultivating this humble stance in our lives not only enriches our hearts but is also an act of consistent worship to the One who endlessly gives.
Closing Blessing
May you walk today with grateful hearts, eyes clearly seeing the multitude of gifts from Heaven. May humility guide your steps, bringing glory to our generous God. Be blessed abundantly as you honor Him in thankfulness every step of the way.
