Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Lord Jesus, realign our focus from worldly gains to the eternal riches found in seeking You first. We surrender our ambitions and desires into Your loving hands, trusting that Your plans far exceed our own expectations.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

When we place the pursuit of God’s Kingdom at the forefront of our lives, we step into alignment with His divine promise. God asks us to set aside worry about worldly provision, urging us instead to prioritize knowing Him and sharing His truth. When we faithfully obey, He generously blesses us—often in unexpected and abundant ways.

Question of the day

Which desires or ambitions need to bow to God’s higher purpose for my life?

Each of us carries dreams and ambitions in our hearts, but how can we discern which ones align with God’s higher purposes? Proverbs 19:21 provides wisdom: “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Take time today to pray and ask God to reveal any ambitions shaped by worldly standards instead of His Kingdom values. Trust that surrendering to His plans brings forth deeper joy and fulfillment.
