Good Morning!

Good morning, beloved! On this Monday, June 15th, we step into a new week with extraordinary expectation. Today, we anticipate resurrection power—the same power that called Lazarus from the tomb, that raised Jesus on the third day. Dead things obey His command. Whatever feels lifeless in your world right now, remember: our God specializes in breathing life into dry bones. Let faith rise!

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You acknowledging that You alone hold the power of life and death. Lord, breathe on what has died in our lives—our dreams, our relationships, our hope, our passion for You. Where we see impossibility, You see opportunity for resurrection. Revive what has withered, restore what has been lost, and renew our faith to believe that nothing is too dead for Your touch.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.

Daily Inspiration

"I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life." — Ezekiel 37:5

In Ezekiel's vision, God commanded the prophet to speak to a valley filled with dry, scattered bones—the most hopeless scene imaginable. These weren't just dead; they were long dead, dried out, disconnected, and forgotten. Yet God asked a profound question: "Can these bones live?"

The answer wasn't found in the bones' condition but in God's character. When Ezekiel prophesied as commanded, breath entered those bones, and they became a vast army. This passage reminds us that God's resurrection power isn't limited by how dead something appears. He doesn't assess circumstances the way we do. Where we see endings, He orchestrates new beginnings. Your dead dream, your failed endeavor, your broken relationship—none of it is beyond His life-giving breath.

Question of the Day

How do I maintain faith when something I've prayed for seems completely dead and hopeless?

Waiting on God when circumstances appear lifeless is one of faith's greatest challenges. Scripture teaches us that God's timing often differs dramatically from ours. In John 11, Jesus deliberately waited until Lazarus had been dead four days before arriving—long enough that no one could deny the miracle. Martha said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died" (John 11:21). Yet Jesus responded, "Your brother will rise again."

The Bible encourages us in Hebrews 11:1 that "faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Maintain faith through Scripture meditation, prayer, and remembering God's past faithfulness. Write down previous resurrections in your life—moments when God revived what everyone had given up on.

Moment of Reflection

Take a moment right now to identify the "dead places" in your life. Perhaps it's a relationship that's grown cold, a career that's stalled, a ministry that's faded, or a dream you quietly buried years ago. Now, instead of mourning over these bones, do what Ezekiel did—prophesy life over them. Speak God's promises. Death bows to His voice, and it will bow in your situation too.

Thought for the Day

Resurrection faith requires us to embrace a holy paradox: we must simultaneously acknowledge reality while believing for the impossible. Ezekiel didn't pretend the bones weren't dry; he saw their condition clearly. But he also knew something greater—he knew his God.

Consider what "dead dream" needs resurrection faith in your life today. Maybe you've given up on reconciliation with a family member. Perhaps you've accepted that your health will never improve, or that your prodigal child will never return. Remember: our God revives what everyone else has given up on.

The key to resurrection is found in Ezekiel's obedience—he spoke to the bones as God commanded. Sometimes faith means praying over dead places even when it feels foolish. It means declaring God's promises when circumstances scream otherwise. It means refusing to write the final chapter because only God holds that pen. Today, dare to believe that breath is coming to your valley of dry bones.

Closing Blessing

May the God who commands breath into dry bones breathe fresh life into every dead place in your world. May resurrection power flow through your prayers, your declarations, and your faith. Go forward this week knowing that death itself must bow to His voice—and so will every impossibility you face.

Amen.
