Your Daily Devotion for July 9th

Good Morning!

Good morning, beloved friends! It’s Wednesday, July 9—a new day to boldly shine Christ’s light and share the transforming love of the gospel. Remember, each interaction today may hold eternal potential.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Grant us courage today, removing fear and hesitation from our hearts. Fill our mouths with Your truth so we can faithfully share the good news of Your salvation and grace. Place someone in our path today who desperately needs to hear of Your hope and redemption. Guide our words, Lord, that we might lead others closer to You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.

A Mother Reads Her Bible in Afghanistan's Shadows. Her Children Sleep in the Next Room. The Taliban Are at Her Door. Our Field Ministers Race Through the Night to Reach Her in Time.

In dark cells, believers whisper prayers. In secret churches, the faithful worship knowing each hymn could be their last. Our Field Ministers are there, right now, moving through shadows to rescue them…and ultimately restore and rebuild their lives through the power of God. Will you join us?

Daily Inspiration

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” — Romans 1:16

The gospel is not simply a message—it is the divine power of God at work in the hearts of humanity. Through Christ’s redemption story comes salvation, freedom, and everlasting hope. Never underestimate the importance of sharing your testimony. God transforms ordinary words into life-changing eternal truths. Your voice can be the bridge that connects others to Jesus.

Question of the day

How can I overcome my anxiety and fear about sharing the gospel with others?

The Bible reassures us that our confidence comes from God, not ourselves. 2 Timothy 1:7 beautifully states, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” Pray for courage, rely on the Holy Spirit, and remember that the gospel message itself holds the power—not your eloquence, experience, or knowledge. Trust that God operates through your obedience and willingness rather than your perfection.

Moment of Reflection

Recall the thrill of leading someone one step closer to Jesus. Remember how exciting, humbling, and rewarding it felt to be an instrument in God’s plan for another person’s salvation. Pause for a moment: Who might need your gentle words of encouragement and truth today?

Thought for the day

The gospel announced is the gospel unleashed. When we speak openly about Christ, we are not merely voicing ideas—rather, we are releasing God’s sanctifying power into people’s lives. Throughout the generations, brave believers have stood unafraid, understanding the magnitude and eternal significance behind their simple act of obedience. Just think: someone’s eternity might shift because you faithfully choose to speak boldly today. Trust that God equips the message He commissions you to deliver.

Closing Blessing

May the God who saves go before you today, filling you with courage and clarity as you share His truth. May your obedience bring fruit, your words be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and your walk of faith lead hearts toward Christ. Be blessed and bold today!
