Your Daily Devotion for July 21st

Good Morning!

Good morning! Today is Monday, July 21, a new day gifted from heaven to open our hearts, open our hands, and practice generosity that trusts fully in our faithful Provider.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Provider and Sustainer, You alone hold the abundance from which all blessings flow. Teach us today to be rivers, not reservoirs—to freely pass along the goodness You give, confident that our emptied hands will always be refilled by Your divine supply. Guide our hearts to joyful generosity, becoming instruments of Your love and provision.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.

Daily Inspiration

Proverbs 11:25“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

Scripture reminds us of the divine economy of generosity. When we open our hearts and hands, sharing what God has blessed us with—whether resources, time, talents, or love—we place ourselves under the wonderful promise of God’s provision and renewal. The act of generously blessing others transforms us, replenishes us, and invites an overflow of heaven’s supply into our own lives.

Question of the day

How do I know when God wants me to give sacrificially?

When God stirs our hearts to give beyond our comfort and convenience, we often experience a persistent prompting by the Holy Spirit urging us toward sacrifice. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, Paul encouraged believers: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” When the Lord is nudging us to sacrificial giving, we usually sense deep peace and joy—even though it might stretch us, we become confident in God’s faithfulness rather than in our limited resources.

Moment of Reflection

Reflect on a moment when you gave generously, perhaps even sacrificially, only to experience unexpected provision afterward—whether emotional, spiritual, relational, or tangible. Take a few moments to thank God for His continued faithfulness and provision.

Thought for the day

Our giving reveals our theology. When we tightly clench what we have, our actions silently announce that we depend more on ourselves than on our Provider. But when we courageously share, freely surrendering what He’s already given, we proclaim—and truly live—the lesson that our security is found not in the resources we can grasp, but in the inexhaustible provision of God Himself. Generosity rooted in trust testifies boldly to our confidence in the unfailing provision and care of our heavenly Father.

Closing Blessing

May today find your hands joyfully open and your heart generously responsive to God’s calling. May the generosity you offer to others come back to you abundantly, refreshing your spirit as God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. Go forth blessed to bless others.
Grace and peace to you always.
