Your Daily Devotion for July 15th

Good Morning!

Good morning precious brothers and sisters! Today is Tuesday, July 15, and a fresh opportunity to recognize our need for God’s supernatural strength rather than relying merely on our talents or personal charisma. May each moment of this day remind us to draw closer to Him, trusting His Spirit to equip and empower us fully.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We humbly acknowledge our weakness and human limitations. Forgive us for trusting in charisma or talents instead of fully depending on the power of Your Holy Spirit. Enable us today to surrender ourselves completely to Your control. Empower our witness and service far beyond our natural abilities so that the impact glorifies Your name alone.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.

Daily Inspiration

“‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” — Zechariah 4:6

God reminds us through these powerful words that our greatest accomplishments do not arise from our personal strength, ability, or talent. Rather, true victory and lasting fruitfulness come only through reliance upon His Holy Spirit. When we serve God from a posture of genuine dependence, the supernatural impact He brings about far exceeds what we could accomplish on our own.

Question of the day

How do I know if I’m relying on my talents rather than trusting God?

Recognizing when you’re relying on your own talents instead of God begins by examining your prayer life and your inner attitude. Are conflicts, frustrations, or anxiety arising because you’re attempting to handle everything yourself without consulting God in prayer (Philippians 4:6)? When we operate from our own ability, we fret, striving in our limited strength. Proverbs 3:5-6 says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” True trust comes when we turn to God first, seeking His guidance continually instead of depending on our gifts alone.

Moment of Reflection

Where in my ministry, relationships, or daily tasks have I depended too much on personal abilities instead of surrendering to God’s Spirit? Take a moment to recall one specific circumstance when you relinquished control to the Holy Spirit and experienced His supernatural results. How can this inspire greater dependence today?

Thought for the day

Dependence on our personal strengths and charisma produces temporary results, limited by human ability—and consequently limited effectiveness. However, the presence and power of the Holy Spirit transforms our ministries, relationships, and everyday moments into opportunities for supernatural impact. When we empty ourselves completely before Him, He fills us abundantly. Our role is not to prove our own capability; rather, we place ourselves fully at His disposal, expecting excellence not from human effort, but from a life supernaturally equipped through trust, humility, and sincere prayer. Remarkably, dependence on the Holy Spirit never produces mediocrity, but releases excellence and influence that transcend our wildest imaginations.

Closing Blessing

May the Lord fill you afresh today with the power, perspective, and peace only His Holy Spirit provides. As you surrender wholeheartedly, may He empower each step, each encounter, and each task, creating lasting impact beyond human limits. Walk boldly, trusting fully in His faithful promise.

Grace and Peace be with you today and always!
