Your Daily Devotion for July 11th

Good Morning!

Good morning! Today is Friday, July 11. As we step into a new day, let’s remember that walking by faith often requires moving forward even when we don’t see all the details clearly. May your steps today reflect your trust in God’s provision.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Teach us each day to trust Your invisible hand and Your unfailing promises. When uncertainty arises, strengthen our hearts and guide us to step forward in faith. Help us to rely on You completely, confident that You will build bridges when we cannot yet see the path.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.

Daily Inspiration

“Without faith it is impossible to please God.” – Hebrews 11:6

Faith is not merely belief in a distant God. It’s the daily decision to step forward in trust, even when the path ahead is shrouded in unknowns. God invites us to move before every detail becomes clear. He lovingly assures us that as we step obediently, the bridges we need will materialize beneath our feet. Let our actions today reflect true faith—moving forward courageously, knowing He’s already ahead of us preparing the way.

A Mother Reads Her Bible in Afghanistan's Shadows. Her Children Sleep in the Next Room. The Taliban Are at Her Door. Our Field Ministers Race Through the Night to Reach Her in Time.

In dark cells, believers whisper prayers. In secret churches, the faithful worship knowing each hymn could be their last. Our Field Ministers are there, right now, moving through shadows to rescue them…and ultimately restore and rebuild their lives through the power of God. Will you join us?

Question of the day

How can I trust God when I don’t see any signs of His provision yet?

Trusting God without signs is exactly what faith is about. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” When faced with unclear circumstances, remember biblical heroes who stepped out trusting God’s promise before they saw evidence: Abraham leaving his homeland for an unknown place (Hebrews 11:8), or Peter stepping out onto water toward Jesus (Matthew 14:29). Your clear indication of God’s faithfulness is seen when you look back on your life, recognizing His timely provisions at crucial moments. Keep your heart anchored in His character and promises, rather than immediate visual confirmation.

Moment of Reflection

Pause for a moment and recall a time when you stepped forward obediently in faith without knowing exactly how it would work out. What happened? How did God meet you in that step? Reflecting on His past faithfulness will remind you that He will always meet your obedience with provision.

Thought for the day

Your faith is measured not by how safe your path looks, but by your willingness to step forward in reliance upon God. When God calls you to something new, the instinctual desire for certainty often rises, urging you to wait until everything becomes crystal clear. Yet God’s way consistently calls for obedience before answers come fully into view. We honor Him most genuinely when we trust Him enough to act despite incomplete information. Remember that every act of faith you take strengthens your trust in Him and demonstrates your reliance upon His goodness, wisdom, and love. As you move today, know assuredly—the bridge will appear once your faithful feet move forward.

Closing Blessing

May the Lord bless and guide your every step today. May He fortify your heart to trust His perfect peace, and may He reward your courageous faith so that others may see His glory revealed through your obedience. Go forth with confidence, knowing that the Architect of your path will never fail you nor forsake you.
