Good Morning!
Good morning, beloved! This Tuesday, January 27th, brings us a powerful reminder that death never has the final word in God's kingdom. Today, we're called to develop resurrection perspective—to see beyond what appears finished and trust in the God who specializes in bringing life from death. Let your faith rise with expectation!
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come before You as the God of resurrection power. Speak life into every dead place in our hearts, relationships, and circumstances. Where we've pronounced endings, You see new beginnings. Give us eyes to see through resurrection perspective, believing that nothing is too dead for Your life-giving touch.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Daily Inspiration
Jesus declared in John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life." These words weren't just theological concepts—they were spoken at Lazarus's tomb, where death seemed to have won. Yet Christ's identity as resurrection itself means He doesn't just give life; He IS life. When He enters our dead situations, transformation is inevitable.
Consider what areas of your life seem permanently finished. That broken relationship, that crushed dream, that withered hope—none are beyond His resurrection power. God specializes in rewriting endings we thought were final. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is actively working in your life today, breathing new possibilities into what seemed impossible.
Question of the day
Why does God sometimes allow things to "die" in our lives before bringing resurrection?
Scripture shows us that death often precedes resurrection to display God's glory more magnificently. In John 11:4, Jesus said Lazarus's sickness was "for the glory of God." When we experience resurrection after death, our faith deepens beyond mere recovery—we witness divine transformation. Like a seed that must die to produce harvest (John 12:24), our losses often become the soil for greater miracles. God allows temporary death to demonstrate that He alone is the source of life, building unshakeable faith in His power.

Moment of Reflection
Take a moment to identify what you've declared "dead" in your life. Perhaps you've given up on restoration, healing, or breakthrough. Today, dare to believe again. Resurrection power isn't limited by how long something has been dead or how impossible it seems. Your situation isn't waiting for resurrection—it's waiting for you to believe in the One who IS resurrection.
Thought for the day
Resurrection perspective changes everything about how we face loss and disappointment. When we truly grasp that Jesus IS resurrection, we stop seeing death as permanent and start seeing it as the stage for God's greatest displays of power. Think about it: every testimony of restoration began with something that looked irreversibly broken. Every revival started in a spiritually dead place. Every miracle of healing came to someone pronounced hopeless.
This perspective doesn't deny reality—it transcends it. Yes, the situation looks dead. Yes, by human standards, it's over. But we serve the God who calls things that are not as though they were, who speaks to dry bones and watches them dance. Today, expect life from death. It's not optimism; it's the very nature of our God.
Closing Blessing
May the God of resurrection breathe fresh life into every dead place you're facing. May hope rise where despair once reigned, and may you witness firsthand that in Christ, death never writes the final chapter. Walk in resurrection power today, expecting the impossible to bow to the name of Jesus. You are deeply loved and powerfully equipped!
