Your Daily Devotion for January 16th
Good Morning!
A new day has dawned on this beautiful Thursday, January 16, reminding us of God’s faithful care. May His joy overflow in your heart and His peace lead you through every moment.
Revival Behind Prison Walls
Right now, prisoners are struggling with feelings of loneliness, isolation, and despair. But we can reach them with the hope of Jesus Christ by sending as many Bibles as we can, as quickly as we can.
Your gift today to Prison Fellowship will put Bibles and Christian content into the hands of waiting prisoners. The demand right now is unlike anything we have ever seen, and there’s nothing short of a revival happening behind prison walls!
We have an amazing opportunity to reach men and women with what they need most: God’s Word! Thank you for remembering those in prison.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your mercy and grace. Guide us through this day with patience and love, showing compassion to those around us. Help us to trust in Your wisdom and walk humbly in Your light.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
Today’s inspiration is drawn from Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
God’s Word guides us, illuminating the way forward. In the midst of uncertainty, His truth provides clarity and direction, ensuring we remain on the path of righteousness and purpose.
Question of the day
How can I experience God’s peace in my heart?
Philippians 4:7 promises, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Through prayer and trusting in His love, God’s peace fills our hearts, providing comfort beyond what the world can offer.
