Daily Inspiration
“To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.” — Revelation 21:6
In the journey of life, we are often tempted to seek fulfillment through worldly pleasures—only to find ourselves thirsting again. Yet, God’s offer is clear and inviting: He provides the pure, unending water of spiritual renewal free of charge. His promise is dependable, refreshing us continually with His life-giving presence.
Question of the day
What worldly wells am I drawing from that never fully satisfy?
The Prophet Jeremiah spoke similarly when he said, “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” (Jeremiah 2:13). When we chase success, wealth, popularity, or approval, we often find these pursuits leave us emptier than before. Jesus reminded the Samaritan woman that only in Him is lasting satisfaction: “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” (John 4:13-14). Let’s turn away from broken cisterns and toward Christ, the living water that quenches all thirst.

Thought for the day
God’s well never runs dry; His presence revives the soul perpetually. Unlike worldly pursuits that demand constant striving yet deliver fleeting satisfaction, God’s presence graciously and consistently fills and restores us. He freely provides joy, peace, and purpose that the world can neither give nor take away. When we drink deep from His well, we find true fulfillment—deep, lasting, and real. Let us commit ourselves anew today to remaining close to His overflowing fountain of life.
Closing Blessing
May your heart be refreshed today by drinking deeply of the fullness of God’s life-giving Spirit. May His renewing presence saturate your thoughts, empower your actions, and fill you with divine contentment and joy.
