Good Morning!
Good morning, beloved friends! On this beautiful Thursday, April 16th, we invite you to declare God’s goodness aloud. Let your first words today be ones of praise and thanksgiving. Remember that testimony defeats accusation—when we speak of what God has done, we silence the lies of the enemy. The Lord has been faithful, and His mercies are new this morning. Open your mouth and let His praises flow!
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts overflowing with gratitude. Fill our mouths with Your praise today. Give us boldness to declare Your goodness to everyone we encounter. Help us remember Your faithfulness in our lives so that we may testify to Your wonders. May our words bring encouragement to the weary and faith to the doubting. Let our testimonies become weapons that dismantle every lie the enemy whispers.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
Daily Inspiration
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.” — Psalm 34:8
This beautiful invitation from David calls us to experience God’s goodness personally—not just to hear about it, but to taste it ourselves. The word “taste” implies intimate, firsthand knowledge. You cannot describe the sweetness of honey to someone who has never tasted it; they must experience it for themselves.
When we share our testimonies, we invite others to “taste” God’s goodness through our experiences. Your story of God’s provision becomes someone else’s invitation to trust Him. Your account of healing sparks hope in the brokenhearted. Testimony is powerful because it transforms abstract faith into tangible reality. Today, consider what goodness of God in your life needs public declaration.
Question of the Day
Why is sharing our testimony so important for our own faith and the faith of others?
Scripture reveals that testimony carries supernatural power. Revelation 12:11 declares, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” When we share what God has done, we actively participate in spiritual warfare. Our stories become evidence that God is alive and working.
Additionally, Romans 10:17 reminds us that “faith comes from hearing the message.” When others hear your testimony, faith rises within them. Your honest account of God’s faithfulness in dark seasons gives permission for others to believe He will do the same for them. Testimony builds a bridge between what God has done and what He will do.

Moment of Reflection
Take a moment to recall a specific time when God showed Himself good in your life. Perhaps it was provision in scarcity, comfort in grief, or direction when you were lost. Hold that memory close. Now consider: who in your life needs to hear this story? Goodness declared dismantles doubt—both in your own heart and in the hearts of those listening.
Thought for the Day
There is profound spiritual strategy in declaring God’s goodness publicly. The enemy operates through accusation—he whispers that God has forgotten you, that He isn’t good, that your situation is hopeless. But testimony cuts through these lies like a sword through darkness.
When you speak of God’s faithfulness, you remind yourself of His track record. You build an altar of remembrance with your words. The Israelites were commanded to tell their children about God’s mighty acts precisely because spoken testimony anchors truth in memory and community.
Furthermore, your testimony carries authority because it cannot be disputed. Theologians can debate doctrine, but no one can argue with your lived experience of God’s goodness. When you say, “I was broken, and He healed me,” that witness stands unshakeable. Today, don’t keep God’s goodness a secret. Speak it boldly. Watch doubt crumble. Watch faith arise.
Closing Blessing
May the Lord fill your mouth with testimonies of His goodness today. May your words bring life to weary souls and ignite faith in doubting hearts. Go forth declaring His praises, and may you experience fresh evidence of His faithfulness to share with others. The Lord bless you and keep you, this day and always.
